Count on God

 

2 Chron. 20:12: For we have no might against this great company that comes against us, and we know not what to do, but our eyes are on you.

 

Are you facing a great company that is coming against you? Do you feel powerless, alone or even abandoned by God? Know that your situation is not unique. Repeatedly, the Bible portrays us servants of God who sometimes known worse situations than yours. However, it is still proved one thing: God never abandons his children.

 

Having the assurance of such truth helps us face the multitudes who come to meet us with a new mindset. Now we do not even need to face them, we need only to remain silent for God fighting for us. (Exodus 14: 14). By having such an attitude, we find that:

 

1- God takes care to place his army around us: Fear not, for they that be with us are more than those with them. (2 Kings 6:16)

 

2- He neutralizes enemy weapons that could attack us: No weapon formed against you shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

 

3- In exchange for our lives, God gives for us people and even nations:

Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honorable, and I have loved you: therefore will I give men for you, and people for your life. (Isaiah 43: 4)

 

We have a God who loves us and provides us with His omnipotence. A God who always keeps his promises. A God who we can always count on because He never abandons us!

 

Do you feel alone in combat of life? Discouraged? Not knowing what to do? Know that God is close to you and you can count on Him!
